The fastest way to reach a human is email. Tally You is built by a small team in London, so the person reading your message is also the person fixing the bug.

When you write in, please tell us your device (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18.2), the app version (Settings → About), and what you were trying to do. Screenshots help.
03 · Common questions
Voice capture isn't working
Tally You needs microphone permission. On iOS: Settings → Tally You → Microphone. On Android: Settings → Apps → Tally You → Permissions → Microphone. If the permission is already on and capture still fails, restart the app and try once on Wi-Fi — voice goes through our servers and a poor connection causes silent failures we're still hardening against.
I can't sign in
Use the same provider you signed up with — Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. If you used “Sign in with Apple” with the “Hide my Email” option, you must keep using Sign in with Apple; the relay address won't work as a password login. Email us if you're stuck.
How do I change the language?
In the app: Settings → Language. On this website: the toggle next to the navigation. Supported: English, Português (BR), Español.
Will my data sync between devices?
Yes. Your log is tied to your account, not your device. Sign in on a new phone and everything is there.
How do I export my data?
In the app: Settings → Privacy → Export my data. You receive a JSON file with your full log. CSV export is on the roadmap.
Is Tally You medical advice?
No. Tally You is a personal tracker. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. If you have a medical concern, please speak to a qualified clinician.
04 · Report a bug
Send a description to hello@tallyyou.com. The more we know up front, the faster we can reproduce — please include:
- Device model and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.2).
- App version, from Settings → About.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or screen recording if you have one.
If you saw a crash, the app reports it to us automatically with no personally identifiable information attached — but a note from you telling us what you were doing is still the most useful debug input we get.
05 · Feature requests & roadmap
We run a public board on Featurebase. You can submit a request, upvote existing ones, and watch us mark them as planned, in progress or shipped:
During closed beta the board is private to invited testers. It flips public when paid tiers launch. Requests you submit while it's private carry over.
06 · Delete your account
You can delete your account and all associated logs from inside the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete account. The delete is a 30-day soft delete — within that window you can email us and we'll restore. After 30 days the data is hard-deleted from primary storage; backups roll off within a further 30 days.
Prefer email? Write to privacy@tallyyou.com from the address tied to your account. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.
07 · System requirements
- iOS: iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
- Android: Android 12 or later.
- Connectivity: internet required for voice capture and sync. The rest of the app reads from a local cache while offline.
- Permissions: microphone (voice capture), notifications (optional, reminders), calendar (optional, schedule-aware planning).
